Needing a Bulgarian Company to buy Land and houses

Foreigners wishing to buy land and Houses in Bulgaria have been required under Bulgarian Law to set up and register a Bulgarian company. The only exception is if you buy an apartment, which even though you own a share of the ground it is built on, is not counted as land requiring a company to own it.

Originally the law on foreigners owning land and houses, was introduced to prevent the country been bought up, at the expense of native Bulgarians. It was due to end in 2013 (if I remember correctly), but I have heard that it has been recently been repealed.

Does anyone know of the latest information?
