Living a simple Life in a Bamboo Hut or Yurt

This time two years ago I was living in a bamboo hut in northern Thailand, close to the Myanmar border. All I had were clothes, and a rented Honda 125cc for transport. In the west he are brainwashed into thinking that we are a better, more successful person if we have more 'stuff'

Living a simple life in that bamboo hut was a revelation. I felt in tune with nature, and could hear the insects, the sound of the gently flowing nearby river, and more importantly my own quiet thoughts which were often drowned out by the fast paced life I lived in the west, as a teacher.

When I came back to the UK I once again had access to the Internet long enough to do some research into Bamboo Huts and other traditional dwellings. That was when I discovered the Mongolian Yurt, and from this discovery, the idea of Bulgarian Yurt Holidays was born.
