According to Dragomir Domuschiev (a member of the Bulgarian association for alternate tourism), Tourists from Europe, USA and Australia are visiting Bulgaria to see rare animals such as the brown bear, plants and butterflies. Mr Domuschiev also said that annually about 5000 foreigners visit bulgaria to enjoy alternative tourism opportunities, and that visits were increasing every year.
